First, ozone itself is not carcinogenic. The Water Quality Association has stated: “Ozone is the most powerful oxidizer available that can be safely used in water treatment.” After doing its job, ozone naturally reverts to ordinary oxygen — leaving no chemicals behind.
Second, about distilled water: Our devices need a little conductivity in the water to generate ozone. Pure distilled water doesn’t have that. If you’d like to use distilled water, simply add a pinch of baking soda and the device will work just fine. It’s such a small step to take in order to use the safest ozone generators out there — electrolytic ozone!
How people use our devices:
-
To make water of uncertain quality safer to drink
-
To clean meats, fruits and vegetables — ozone inactivates things like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, and can even help produce last longer in the fridge
-
For oral rinses and other everyday uses — in this case, starting with distilled water plus a pinch of baking soda is a simple option
The bottom line: Ozone water is safe, effective, and chemical-free. Whether for safer drinking water, fresher produce, or everyday hygiene, our electrolytic ozone devices make it simple.
