A digital TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter measures the concentration of dissolved ions in a liquid by assessing the electrical conductivity of the solution. The device uses electrodes to determine how easily electricity flows through the liquid, which correlates with the amount of dissolved solids present. The meter then converts this conductivity reading into a TDS value, typically expressed in parts per million (ppm).
