We have been able to find no evidence that ozone in water is harmful to you, and is, in fact, very widely used as a disinfectant in water treatment due to its ability to kill bacteria and other micro organisms. There are some studies that indicate it is actually beneficial, for example, in the treatment of some stomach ulcers.
