Our water ozone generators tend to last for years. They do wear out over time, but our anticipated life cycle is 500-800 hours of use. For the GO-3, each cycle lasts 3 minutes. There are approximately 3.7 liters in a gallon, lets call it 4. So to clean 2 gallons of water you would run it four times. I made a quick chart to arrive at your answer: Even on the low end, it looks like about 3.5 years. Hope you find this information helpful!
