In general these portable power banks should not be depended on to actually fully charge with the sun. If it was totally depleted, it could take many many hours of full sun to fully re-charge the bank. We picked this particular power bank because it was inexpensive and if you charged at home, it would re-charge your Roving Blue products for literally weeks of use in the field.
